In the attached video, obviously it has been witnessed that the PMS-ZMZ-002581 Power Management System has been established and commissioned over a fully manual platform and has brought about a versatile remote-control and safety over the MSB and simultaneously, on the Generators to provide parallel-running modes of the GENSET (s) and a fully automatic-synchronization  & load sharing ability.

Simply, by touching the imaginary buttons of the Air Circuit Breakers, over the HMI, the “Auto-Synchronization” process shall be initiated and the in-coming generator shall be paralleled to the out-going generator.

Here, and in the present maritime vessel’s PMS automation project, even the ACB (s) were found obsolete, and no any motorized gear were applicable; therefore, we’ve replaced those out of order ACB(s) with the Motorized ACB(s) from ABB.

Due to lack of safety over the main switch board, we’ve installed several electronic current & potential transducers to monitor the current amount, direction (to prevent reverse-power) and voltage over the phases of the generators & bus-bars.

Other relevant parameters like the frequency monitor (including the safeties) are being provided under PROFINET network.
